Assign keyboard shortcuts to buttons

Similar to KEYboard (http://aescripts.com/keyboard/) but not limited to numbers. This would be a huge selling point for a lot of motion designers I know

I looked into this over the weekend and it turns out its not realistically possible. AE doesn't expose an API for it without doing some pretty ridiculous stuff to work around it.

I'm closing this ticket out as "won't fix".

I just found this thread because I had the same request, for what it's worth. I know this was possible in FT-Toolbar. But maybe Francois used the ridiculous workaround you're hinting at.

I had hoped to control the K-Bar with the Elgato Stream Deck.
