it is an excellent and much better simulation without ever going to one of those commercial license that come with many restrictions. the game is more a complete flight simulator than all and i suspect that is why it was released with steam edition, like this same game came in fsx and then was released to the general public through steam. it is much more attractive to the general public (or "pay to play"). i am lucky that i paid nothing with the first day promo. i got hooked up with this simulator because of it great catalogue of aircrafts. i am from india and fsx was my first sim. thank you to cracke it was so much easeer for me to understand and get started with. can't see how steam edition will be a disappointment for anyone. after some time (2-3 years), every simulator version has an effect on upgrade of graphics. in this case, the scenery, use of fsx, is really good. i think the price is a bit high, but i am willing to pay for a quality. hope i will get some good updates in future. a great game. i love space sims, mostly commercial ones. i could get into this game more if they were more intuitive, and less, well, technical. and, more options. these game always seem to force you to go to a website to load a form, and this website then forces a pop-up window which freezes if you close it too quickly. why not just link to it, or save it on steam. it is a big problem with this game. the actual menus are just letters and numbers. and, i am finding that the higher the aircraft engine speed, the more of a lag there is. often, i will have to restart the game to fix the situation. it's just annoying. 6a6f617c0c
