Problem

I am not sure we can approve a plugin that only works in windows. Can you try to fix the issues that make it work for lunx and mac os. We generally want the whole community to benefit from the plugin ecosystem

Bug fix for Linux platforms: I had to use single quotes around path strings, which is not required in Windows.

I haven’t approved the plugin yet because we need to ascertain what the policy is for uploading binaries

I tried to upload a new version, the executables were missing. But it’s not possible, apparently the plugin is too big now with those executables. Can I upload a larger plugin? Are executables allowed? I will try to get the exe’s smaller, but I am not sure that is possible.

It’s a more open-ended question in QGIS. Some devs do not like the idea of plugins being executable because they like the idea of plugins being code

Very understandable. The executable is based on fortran code. I tried wrapping it with numpy.f2py package, but I did not manage to get it working on windows (even posted the problem with them). So then we decided to create executables

I apologise in advance for the many updates today, but we just had a workshop, so I did a lot of testing…
