Problem

Are those external libs you have included with the code ?.

hubdc (hub-datacube) and qps (qgispluginsupport) are two python packages developped externally (https://hub-datacube.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html and https://bitbucket.org/jakimowb/qgispluginsupport/src/master/qps/) and used by the MESMA plugin, therefore they are shipped with the code under a local folder named “sitepackages”.

Could you please consider adding these libs to OSGeo4w installer, or if not feasible instruct users to install them beforehand?

Not possible as they are edited a bit to fit my program and not stable released by the authors.

I renamed the folder to externals to make a better distinction.

actually, avoiding downstream modifications is one of the reasons we prefer external installations, to avoid multiple version of about the same thing, and at the same time to promote cooperation rather than local patches. any chance to discuss with original authors? sorry for bothering, I hope you'll understand our position. cheers.

I understand absolutely, but he original code is not meant for this. I know it inside out by now. It is an integral part of the software as is. The “external” name is just a reference because I did not write the code myself. But having user install this separately would really be highly problematic.
