No notifications when attachments are purged

When attachments are purged, the followers of the page the attachments are on apparently get a lot of notification emails. This is unnecessary and unwanted since no changes are made, just deletions of old version. Either this functionality should be disabled, or should be configurable ...

Hi Auke, Please check out 2.1.0 version which resolves this issue. (available Confluence 5.8+)

Not possible at the moment to disable notifications for delete old attachments version.

Hi Tina. It is not exactly clear what you have fixed... I asked to disable notifications for purge, but looking at your comment this is not the case. Testing confirmed that. But when I delete an attachment completely no notification is sent. It should be the other way around! Also when testing I notices that the add-on not always shows the correct number of versions. When I create a page with one attachment, multiple versions the add-on does not detect that. When I add another attachment, then the add-on shows the correct details (see attached images).

Finally, when I open the add-on on the page itself, the layout is not correct (see last image)

1- Notifications:

You asked to disable notifications when purge attachments i.e. delete old versions and keep latest. Ok I got!

What’s fixed: no notifications sent when attachment is completely deleted.

For purge, no way at the moment! No option provided through Confluence API.

Many people ask Atlassian for that.

I keep the issue status On hold, waiting an update from Atlassian.

2- Not correct number of versions rendered:

Not reproduced, may I know your Confluence version? How many users?

We have some doubts on your Confluence index!

3- Layout is not correct:

It’s caused by the widgets add-on.

We have just released a 1.1.1 version which resolves the issue.
