Replaced busy loop of emulation playback thread by a sleeping loop; drops CPU usage drastically.

I guess you don't want this one, but for me 100% cpu on one thread is not desirable on laptop. This solves it, and I can't hear the difference - but I'm not a musician ;) So I'm proposing this mostly for other persons who would want the same as me.
