Usage (GUI)

This is how the GUI looks like (OpenCore Mode):

Top Bar

The top bar contains a list of your opened files.

Here you have an icon, representing the file type (Clover, OpenCore, etc..), and the name of the file.

Add file

Use the Add button (+) to create a new file.

Close file

Hover the file to show the close button.

You can now click the close button (x) to close the file.

CCE Menu

Open Configuration (1)

Open a configuration from your PC or from CCE Bank.

You can select a Bootloader or let CCE try to detect the configuration type.

Save Configuration (2)

Download the configuration or save it to CCE Bank.

When you select 'Save to CCE Bank', some new options will appear.

Settings (3)

CCE Mode

Swith between CCE Modes.

Your current file is overwritten and any unsaved change will be lost.

Text Editor Mode

Switch from GUI to Text Editor.

You will now see your config as text.

CCE Bank View Mode

Switch between public CCE Bank and your private CCE Bank.

CCE Tools (4)

A collection of some useful tools.

About (5)

This is a simple modal showing you some informations about CCE and some useful links to sources, wikis etc..

Upgrades (6)

Please note: Upgrade feature is only available for CloverEFI and OpenCore bootloaders!

This icon will turn red when CCE finds outdated settings in your configuration.

Click the icon to open the upgrade modal and see more info.

Inputs

Just a few notes about some CCE inputs.

Tri-state checkboxes

There are 3 possible states for a checkbox.

Checked: Value is true.

Indeterminate: Value is false.

Unchecked: Value is not set.

Inline edit (Tables)

Editable fields are marked with a text cursor.

Double click, or tap and hold (touch), to open the inline editor.

You can now press Enter or click outside to save your changes.

Combo-box

Combo-box is a hybrid input: text + select.

You can write a custom value or select one from the list.

Tables

Tables support multi-select (CTRL + click).

You cannot select multiple entries from different tables.

Every table in CCE has some options.

This is the complete options list, some may be missing on some tables.

Add new entry (1)

Add a new empty entry

Copy entry to.. (2)

Copy the selected entries to a selected config.

Patches Database (3)

This will show you a modal with all the patches available in CCE.

They come from various sources.

Delete entry (4)

Delete the selected entries.

Special case

Some tables with special needs may have an additional button.

This is the edit button.

This will show you a modal with all the additional fields for that entry.
