Meeting rooms list and external invitations

Good morning, We would like to know if there is the possibility to see the list of Meeting rooms available in field "MEETING LOCATION" based on the date indicated. Is it possible or do you think to release something similar in next update?

We also would like to know if is it possible to send meeting invitation to external users, without using JIRA list.

Hello Devid,

There are no connection to room booking systems planned so far. Meeting invitation is sent now to all meeting participants plus all external participants, which emails are known.

But in a new version of meeting plugin it would be possible to send/download a meeting invitation draft to meeting organiser, which can be edited (e.g. location, other participants) in his favourite email program before sending to all meeting participants. In this case it would be possible to use all connected add-ons of organiser email program (such as room booking).

I hope that such workaround can satisfy your 2 requests.

We have reworked invitation functionality in new version of meeting plugin. Please try it out. For now Jira does not send any invitation, but user downloads generated invitation and opens it in his favourite email program, from which it should be send or adjusted with booking room etc.
