Error message: SB RSS Feed plus Warning: Settings needs to be updated

Just activated the plugin in wordpress 3.7.1 and getting error message:

SB RSS Feed plus Warning: Settings needs to be updated

Any ideas how to update settings?

hello, all you need to do, is go to "Settings" -> "SB RSS Feed +" in WordPress admin area and just hit save button to update the settings.

This message should not be there for new installs... I will look at it and fix it in future verions.

I can't find "Settings" -> "SB RSS Feed +" in WordPress admin area. The error takes me to the 'access denied' page. Please fix this ASAP

Settings can only be accessed by user with "manage_options" privileges (aka. you can access and change general WordPress setings).

You can find the settings at url: http://<your-domain>/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sbrss_feed_plus

I'm using the WordPress standard options-general.php, so...

• if the WordPress is working and core is not modified
• if the plugin is installed correctly and not modified
• if you are using latests version of WP and plugin
• if you are using account with correct permissions

you should be able to access the settings. If you can access the general WordPress settings, you should be able to access my plugin settings.

I still get this error on WP 4.1. I don't have the logs anymore but maybe is a conflict with Yoast which I also have installed.

Try to update to new version. This message won't display for new installations - you still need to go to plugin settings and change the configuration to reflect your needs...
