screen gestures (M8)

Hi

I have noticed that many of my previous bug reports have been attended to and incorporated. So thank you. You have played a vital part in making my android experience flawless. Please keep up the hard and often thankless work.

I used the toolbox to disable all the motion gestures except for double tap. However, when th screen is off and I trigger a disabled gesture, it still registers it with a vibration. This is not the main problem. The main flaw is that it seems to initiat a "cooldown" period where no gestures will work for a few seconds, so if I accidentally slide my finger instead of double tapping I am then forced to unlock via the power button or wait .

Also, the vibration is not disabled when I set it to be so.

I am on AR HD 11.1

Are you Haik0 from XDA?) Try to disable gestures in native M8 settings as I suggested in the thread. Stock kernel on M8 disables wake gestures at all after first successful gesture. This shouldn't be a problem if we can fix the behavior of disabled gestures :)
