Long press back - kills foreground app even when that option is not selected (Eragon ROM)

Issue #160 closed

Hi, first of all, thank you for the sense toolbox. I enjoy it very much.

I have always used long press on the back button to toggle brightness. I have now changed my rom to Eragon and long press on back button kills the foreground app in addition to toggling the brightness, even though the "Kill foreground app" action has not been selected. Is there any way you can avoid this?

I have seen this behavior in Eragon v53 and v54. I did not have this in ROM slightly v5.

Thank you,

Piet

How is that possible?) Does selecting other actions on back long press work? "No action" should do what it does...

Thank you for your fast reply.

It always seems to kill the foreground app in addition to doing what I set it to do in the sense 6 toolbox. When I set long back press to toggle the flashlight, it toggles the flashlight and it kills the foreground app. When I set it to "No action", it kills the foreground app.

When asking about this in the Eragon xda-developers forum, the Eragon publisher says this kill action is built into the rom and cannot be changed.

Well, then it's not a Toolbox's fault, app killing code is in modified framework of your ROM and it's not affected by Toolbox (which is kind of good, they don't conflict :))
