Allow the possibility to enable big pictures in Blinkfeed (squares only have picture and news title, no text background). Is possible in other custom roms so should be doable.

green background is not shown (red rectangle) and the picture takes the whole square. title and news source is still displayed but is behind the now increased picture and not behind the green label.
