actually didnt try before but the gesture do wake up the screen but do not launch the specified app eg i hv made up swipe launch music app but on doing so it only opens the pin screen by the way my lockscreen is pin locked i hv to enter pin to unlock phone . cn anybody help .

If it shows you a pin screen instead of lockscreen after gesture (if you have bypass lockscreen disabled), then app should start. There is already a fix in next version that will improve app launch with secure lock.
