carrier name on status bar

Any chance you can add the option to put the carrier name on the top left of the status bar?

    What's the use of it? For dual sim only? You can tap and hold statusbar to see your current carrier.

    When I am travelling it's essential that I know which network I am using to avoid certain charges. Its mostly for simplicity. I don't want to have to keep pulling down my notification bar just to see.
