title: About Me
h1. About Me

I am a student and computer programmer working towards a degree in Computer Science at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. I code in Python, PHP (reluctantly), Ruby, Lua and a smattering of other languages. Most of my work to date has been in the domain of Web applications, but I am also interested in databases, data structures, programming language theory, and discrete mathematics.

I am an avid Linux user and advocate, despite the fact that my primary computer is a Macbook Pro running Mac OS X. (Though it *does* dual-boot Arch Linux.)

Non-programming subjects I am interested in include:

* Linguistics
* Transit planning
* Space science
* Economics
* Political science
* Music
* Ultimate Frisbee
* Baseball
* Hockey
* Snow
