In your case, the following would work:
\n\n

NSString *html = [webView stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString:[NSString stringWithFormat:@\"document.DetailView.innerHTML; document.getElementsByName('user_name')[0].value = '%@'; document.getElementsByName('user_password')[0].value = 'somevar'; document.DetailView.submit();\" , txtField.text]];\n

\n\n
There is an additional bug in your code in that you don't properly encode the text field value - consider what would happen if the user entered an apostrophe.
\n\n
However building up JavaScript in this way isn't a great approach. Consider factoring out the JavaScript into an external JavaScript file - this will make it much easier to read and write.
\n","owner":{"user_id":8427,"display_name":"Jim","reputation":13947,"user_type":"registered","profile_image":"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/1204ff2c65e274123328b48072686bb4?d=identicon&r=PG","link":"http://stackoverflow.com/users/8427/jim"},"creation_date":1323647863,"last_activity_date":1323647863,"score":0,"up_vote_count":0,"down_vote_count":0},{"post_id":8468460,"post_type":"question","body":"
Starting off I have UTFS.
\n\n
Trying to insert a variable in the middle of string to populate a web view form without using a string by append and making the code huge. ToolPanel holds two JPanels which hold the color- and toolbuttons. The Buttons are extensions of JComponent.
\n\n
link to screenshot (I'm not allowed to post images appearently):
\n\n

\n\n
note: The buttons in the second \"fake\" toolpanel are not actual buttons that can be clicked and I can paint on top of it. If I paint on the \"fake\" color button in the left corner it will be repainted again when I mouseover a new color and enter the drawpanel with the mouse.
\n\n
note 2: I used to have a JMenuBar which was also painted in the drawpanel. It was repainted each time the drawpanel is mouseovered after the window (not just the panel) lost focus once.
\n\n
Some code:\n(I know the tool selection implementation isn't the best :P)
\n\n
DrawPanel's paintComponent method:
\n\n

    public void paintComponent(Graphics g) { \n    if(isMousePressed) {\n        if(tool == \"BRUSH\") {\n            g.setColor(color);\n            g.fillOval(currentEvent.getX(), currentEvent.getY(), 30, 30);\n        } else if(tool == \"ERASER\") {\n            g.setColor(getBackground());\n            g.fillOval(currentEvent.getX(), currentEvent.getY(), 30, 30);\n\n        }\n    }\n}\n

\n\n
Let me know if there is any relevant information or code that I left out.
\n\n
Hypothesis:\nI didn't call super.paintComponent in DrawPanels paintComponent-method, maybe that causes some problems? The reason that I didn't is that if I do, it will repaint the background all the time so only the dot I painted last will be visible. Not sure if the supercall actually solves the problem or if the fake-panel is just covered by the background as well. Maybe I need to work around that some other way? Or is it something else?
\n\n
Thanks!
\n","owner":{"user_id":800535,"display_name":"tobes","reputation":21,"user_type":"registered","profile_image":"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/9cba39584819ab028723fbd9c1cf52b6?d=identicon&r=PG","link":"http://stackoverflow.com/users/800535/tobes"},"creation_date":1312217466,"last_activity_date":1323647730,"last_edit_date":1323647730,"score":4,"up_vote_count":4,"down_vote_count":0,"comments":[{"comment_id":8217475,"post_id":6901746,"creation_date":1312217914,"score":1,"edited":false,"body":"+1 For the "WTF" screenshot. :D","owner":{"user_id":584862,"display_name":"Крысa","reputation":9718,"user_type":"registered","profile_image":"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/840ece295cf7c6e79179ad3906308bd1?d=identicon&r=PG","link":"http://stackoverflow.com/users/584862/a"}},{"comment_id":8218187,"post_id":6901746,"creation_date":1312220864,"score":4,"edited":false,"body":"Don't use "==" to compare Strings.
