This distro is broken. Docs say there is a configure file in the package. There is not. Therefore, the instructions cannot be followed; i.e. "type ./configure". I'll call this major as it is broken right out of the box and could be easily fixed by either adding a configure file or changing the instructions to something sensical.

    Autotools build should be fixed in latest hg tip. You just need to issue autoreconf -fi before running configure (same with the rest of autotools project pulled from development repositories). ./configure is distributed only in final tarball.
