Recommended computer hardware configuration?

Greetings!

If I want to use MAGeCK-VISPR for analyzing raw fastq data about 8GB with PC(Mac) rather than the server, is there any recommended configuration on RAM and CPU?
Actually I wonder whether the new Mac Pro is OK? Thanks.
