sage-coding-theory is not easy to find and not present on any official Sage list

Issue #2 new
Johan Rosenkilde created an issue

Searching on Google for sage-coding-theory yields nothing, and it is close to impossible to find the group. Probably this is due to a lack of pages linking to it.

As a related problem, Sage has at least two official lists of discussion groups. sage-coding-theory should be on at least one of them: http://sagemath.org/development-groups.html http://sagemath.org/development.html

It seems that we can edit the website ourselves (or actually clone the website repo and modify the HTML files) : https://github.com/sagemath/website I think that the best thing to do here is to keep that in mind until we have something "advanced" enough to be presented and/or discussed, then email Harald Schilly : http://sagemath.org/contact.html to ask him if that is OK to add sage-coding-theory on one of the two webpages Johan linked above. If we get his approval, we just modify the project, push our changes, and coding theory becomes a little bit more advertised!
