Create a new task

A member can assign a task to another member if he has permissions to do this.

Allowing a member to assign tasks requires one change in the user settings. In the administration area select the user to edit his permissions. On his page, make sure Assign tasks is checked.

A member can assign tasks only if he can access that project. This means that he either must have the permission to view all projects, he is the project manager or he is already an assignee in any other task from that project.

Modify or Delete a task

A task can be modified/deleted by the project manager or by the creator of task. If the user is in any of these two positions, in the list of tasks he can see the edit and delete icon that will allow him to access the editing page.

Important! The status of a task (open, closed) cannot be modified by the creator, can be modified only by the project manager. This means that once a task is marked as closed, it can be open only by the project manager.

Subtasks

Inside a task, the user (creator or assignee) can create a new task, a subtask. The creation of a subtask is the same as the creation of a normal task.
