The file repository

MyPortal can be used as a file repository. This means that your staff members can create folders and upload files.

To folders and files will get access all other staff members and selected clients.

In the administration area, for each staff member you must set his permissions to the file repository. Also, you must choose if you want this member to set file permissions for clients.

In the front-end, in the members area, authorised staff members can set client permissions to folders.

Possible permissions are:

• List - the client can view all files contained in the folder, but he cannot download any of them

• Download - the client can download any of the files contained by folder

• Upload - the client can upload files into the folder

• Recursive - the permissions for this folder will apply for any subfolder
