Installation

In order to install EasyAppointment, you must follow these steps:

• Download the extension to your local machine as a zip file.
• From the backend of your Joomla site (administration) select Extensions > Install/Uninstall.
• Click the Browse button and select the extension package on your local machine. Click the Upload File & Install button.

After installation, you can navigate to the component: Components > EasyAppointment.

Menu items creation

Since the reservation process and the management is done using the front-end area, you must create different menu items.

Menu item for browsing services

Go to Menus - Main Menu (or the menu where you want to add your new item) - Add New Menu Item.

On the new page give a title to your menu item and Menu Item Type you must select EasyAppointment - Service(s) page.

A new selection will become available under Menu Item Type. There you must select your service. If no service is selected this entry will point to a page containing all your services instead of a single service.

Menu item for a staff member page

There is also the option to create a menu item that points directly to a certain staff member.

Go to Menus - Main Menu (or the menu where you want to add your new item) - Add New Menu Item.

On the new page give a title to your menu item and for Menu Item Type you must select EasyAppointment - Individual staff page.

A new selection will become available under Menu Item Type. There you must select your staff member.

Menu item for front-end management area (staff area)

The last menu item that you must create is the one pointing to the staff management area. Each staff member uses this area to manage his schedule, appointments, etc. This allows him to choose different settings for his reservation process.

Go to Menus - Main Menu (or the menu where you want to add your new item) - Add New Menu Item.

On the new page give a title to your menu item and for Menu Item Type you must select EasyAppointment - Management page (staff only).
