Issue #20 resolved

Register * not linked to selection buffer

tass avatartass created an issue

In vim, "*p pastes the content of the X selection buffer. In evil, I simly get an "empty register" error. I suppose register * doesn't know about X selection.

Commit ad32306 adds the "+ and "* registers.

Note that Emacs also provides the variables x-select-enable-clipboard and x-select-enable-primary for configuring this:

    (setq x-select-enable-clipboard t
          x-select-enable-primary t)

Then a plain yank ("yy") or paste ("P") automatically accesses the clipboard and the primary X11 selection (if available).
