I can't remember that there is a marmelade "release". At least not by me. I've looked into the repo and do not know the owner of that package. I have no idea if we could simply replace a package that is owned by someone else.
In the meantime you could use the melpa package, which usually corresponds to the latest development version.
Hi, I was the one who uploaded that to Marmalade. Seems like marmalade's philosophy of "users are encouraged to upload even packages they didn't write (as long as those packages allow redistribution)" has some issues in the real world, especially as they don't make it particularly easy for the original authors to contact the uploader.
Anyways, I'd be happy to transfer ownership or just delete my version from Marmalade if you want. I've been working in Vim lately, and aren't likely to keep the evil package on marmalade up to date right now. Let me know what you'd prefer.
