Thanks for this fantastic emacs package!

With this commit:

evil-version reports a version based on HEAD of my personal .git repo, which is unrelated to evil. I have my .emacs.d/ living inside a .git repo in my home directory. I installed evil via elpa, which doesn't appear to use git/hg to manage the files, so (call-process "git" nil '(t nil) nil "rev-parse" "--short" "HEAD")) returns the commit number of my personal git repo.
