Issue #274 new

String Text object behaves different from Vim's

Michael Markert
created an issue

In Vim it is possible to use the string text object while not in it: It searches forward for a string if it is not inside one.

Expected (| being the cursor):

|(foo) "bar"

(foo) "|"

Actual: Nothing happens.

Vim is highly irregular, it doesn't work for the paren text object e.g. I'm not sure but I think it would make sense for other text objects as well.
