These pages describe the planned development of the ipkg project.

Features

The following features are planned:

• native IBM i client
• package deployment management (install/update/delete)
• installation from local packages and from repositories
• handling of package dependencies
• displaying of package dependencies (table/graph)
• iPKG client is packaged as one ILE application (all dependencies are statically bound, all modules included)
• handle different kind of packages (QSYS objects, stream files)
