Google Play Services keep stopping on Blu Life One X

I just installed MadOS 8.1 Fever on my Blu Life One X and that all went fine. The issue I'm having is Google Play Services keeps saying that it's stopped and needs to be restarted (from a clean install). I tried upgrading the Google Play Services and Google Play Store to the latest version and now all it says that Google Play Services needs to be updated, and it won't even launch the Play Store or update.

Anyone else see this, or have any suggestions? The phone is unusable.
