Battery drops at 15% / Jiayu S3
Android Oreo 8 Release 1 First reported by tofikos 20/11/2017, 10:38 AM
User krkmastav reports that it was fixed in N and came back with O.
User hankching reports "I found when mobile data is off, the battery drop can solve. You can try before battery drop, for example, if battery drop at 40%, turn off mobile data (ie settings -> network and internet -> data usage -> mobile data) at 42% or high. This only tried on N. O changes RIL based on devs said, so it may not work on O. "

It's me krkmastav. I reinstalled the Rom again with a full wipe (like i did it before), removed the battery for a while and loaded it until 100% while it was off. Then i started using it to drain the battery to 15%. The drain was gone this time. I watched some videos and did some copyjobs in total commander at once and the battery was reacting normaly. I'll have an eye on it and do some more tests.

Well ... this battery drop issue has not been consistent since Lollipop builds to start with...
myself i never had drops on LP/MM/N
there are indeed "Official Jiayu S3" , that came with a smaller battery then 3000/3100 mha, this could explain why only some have drops, other don't
If this issue wasn't present on MM/N, and now on Oreo its back, i sujest to fully discharge/ charge all the way up the battery on offline mode to calibrate If this issue is still there after this, please let me know
