Video recording doesn't work / Jiayu S3-8.1-madOS2.1

Video recording doesn't work, it crashes when I try to use it in default app. The same using other apps. Using Qcif resolution I get a file, but it video is unusable (audio looks OK). It looks like RAW data is passed directly to the file without conversion. One I was able to record a couple of seconds, but I touched the display in the middle, pausing recording. The app then freezed.
