Localized namespace name not properly removed during delinking

Namespace names and special words are configurable in Mediawiki. On hi.wikipedia.org, the File namespace is localized as चित्र

It appears that commons delinker does not correctly recognise this and only removes a portion of the namespace name, thus leaving a redlink to चित्.1

The problem seems to have been occuring for at least the past eleven months. Eg diffs [2],[3]

It appears the redlinked page has been created and deleted six times. See backlinks to the page (most probably created by this tool) [4], and deletion log of the page.5
