Option to automatically replace current file usage

Commonshelper (or is it move-to-commons?) gives the option to rename a file, which is a good idea when old files have unhelpful names, but renaming the file in the move is a headache unless there is an option to replace all current uses of the file with the new name's link. If you try to replace the usage manually, a bot usually beats you to delinking it. Anyway, it would ideally be baked into the tool. I believe a handful of other tools do this already.
