mix'n'match not recognizing UTF-8 html

mix'n'match doesn't seem to recognize UTF-8 html, ticking the box "UTF8-encode (usually not needed)" results in nothing (seems to ignore it). Broser is Firefox 68.0.1 (64-bit), system Windows 10
