Let's add some elements typical of a game

Issue #10 new

A good game is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:The_Wikipedia_Adventure I suggest to take some inspiration from it to add some typical element of a game, for example: * a story * characters * symbolic prizes ("badges") * game missions * a game ending * nice graphics * more fun!

Here are some suggestions (not suggesting these to be implemented soon! just ideas for the future):

    • Implement leaderboards for different periods of time (issue #15)
    • Make the statistics public (issue #9)
    • Allow linking to a specific user's statistics (so these can be shared)
    • Show user / game statistics graphically, plotting edits over time, both cumulative and per day (bonus: allow comparing stats graphs for two or more users)
      • maybe for the game stats also include a graph for total number of players (both for the sum of all games, and for specific games)
    • Add a "feed" sidebar to the main page (perhaps only in the desktop view), including milestones of both the users and the games as a whole, e.g.
      • Usef:Foo just reached (500/1000/etc.) points in (game X / all games combined)
      • User:Foo just reached position #(100/50/10/etc.) in the ranking for (game X / all games combined)
      • The Gender game just reached 25% of all topics completed
      • Only 1000/500/etc. items remaining in the Person game.
    • Show a notification icon next to the user name whenever the user reaches a new milestone, e.g. "Congratulations! You just completed <milestone X>" (see above for suggested milestones). Clicking the icon would take the user to the stats page, but the reason for the notification could be added as the icon's tooltip, for convenience.
