If Widar auth is lost mid-game, it keeps recording edits but doesn't save to Wikidata

I keep losing Widar auth when I play using my smartphone; I suspect this happens whenever the wifi connection changes. This is already quite inconvenient by itself, though I'm not sure the Game can do anything to prevent it.

However, I noticed that the Game only warns me that I'm not logged into Widar if I visit its home page; if I leave the browser in a game page, and somehow lose Widar auth, when I return to the browser and try to play, it seems to work, and keeps loading more items and presenting me with them; these also appear in the record of edits in the settings page, but in fact the edits are silently ignored (i.e. not actually performed on Wikidata at all).
