Merge game - redirection failed

I guess this is caused by the recent update, and modification of the merging process...

would you please post a message on the Game to warn not to play "Merge" while not fixed ?

I have had a couple of merges in which the redirection failed. It seems that the item wasn't empty after merging. When I completed the merges by merge.js first an edit "/ wbeditentity-override:0| / Clearing item to prepare for redirect" was done, before creating the redirect. Perhaps that is a way to prevent this problem.

Have had this problem several times. What seems to be the issue is that the two items have a different name or description in some language. Because there can be only one description (and a merge doesn't seem to add a name as an alternative name), the name or description will be left on the item that is to be removed, after which it cannot be merged.
