Gender in Esperanto

Male pronouns: "li" (he), lin (him), "lia", "liaj", "lian", "liajn" (his) Female pronouns: "ŝi" (she), "ŝin", "ŝia", "ŝiaj", "ŝian", "ŝiajn" (her)

Most words ending in "ino" are feminine nouns (verkistino, kantistino, heroino, aktorino, reĝino), while at least some of the corresponding words without "in" more or less default to masculine (reĝo unconditionally; verkisto, kantisto, heroo, aktoro).
