Not possible to edit dates by hand

When trying to edit the date by hand in the birth/death date game, the input is taken as a shortcut rather than input to the form. Thus it is not possible to input the date, and in fact one is often taken to the next person to be given dates without having the date input though one did recognize it.

That should be fixed now. However, when closing the dialog with "close" or "X", the shortcuts remain inactive. Too many fiddly details :-(

Note that having the shortcuts in the date game wasn't very useful to begin with, since the mouse has to be used to click the dates anyway...
