Date game: Clearing the date results in zero timestamp

If I pressed the wrong date, and I want to "clear" that date, i press the date (the blue button) and clear it, and press save. This results in a date that is: +00000000000-00-00T00:00:00Z

When I wrote "clear" I ment "manually" cleared, by pressiing alt+a, delete.
