QS2 stalls if asked to remove a statement from a merged item

QS2 appears to stall, if it is asked to remove a statement, using the old Qid, from an item that has been merged.

eg: I was trying to execute -Q51433407 P2093 "Royal Society of Edinburgh" to remove an author-string statement, before adding an author statement with the actual Q value.

However, after I prepared my list Q51433407 has since been merged into Q15768326 . I suspect this is what has caused the problem.

When it hit this statement in the file, QS2 halted, with odd behaviour when I attempted to STOP then RUN to get it going again.
