Forever "Uploading..." on Android

The "Upload image" button works on Ubuntu/Firefox but not on Android/Firefox nor Android/Chromium.

Both Ubuntu and Android are using the same WiFi, so it is probably not a network problem. Reproduced yesterday and today with two different Wikidata items and different pictures below 2MB. The image is correctly uploaded to Commons (example, see the duplicate uploads because I tried several times unsucessfully), but not linked from Wikidata.
