New feature request: ability to map local files, from the currently selected local directorys.

Yesterday I did a WikiShootMeWalk, in my home town. I put WSM on my mobile phone and plastered the reddots- and more besides, I took about 120 shots mainly about similar housing.

Today, I started the renaming process, my f2 button in firefox is now hot. I have WSM open just to provide a map . The images are mainly classified by street name, and are placed in subdirectories. At the end of the process I have about 20 images that I can’t locate or identify from memory- if only there was a local file layer that could read the EXIF data that each image is carrying, the job would be done.

Tomorrow I will be uploading 120 files to Commons, one subdirectory at a time, and then using WSM for the purpose it was intended.
