Ho to backup RhodeCode data (DB, index, ...) not the repos

Issue #121 invalid

I would like to know what's the best approach to backup all the RhodeCode data Config Database Statistics (part of DB?) Index

We already have a procedure for the repos.

    Backing up RhodeCode

Just copy your .ini file, it contains all RhodeCode settings.

    Whoosh index

Whoosh index is located in /data/index directory where you installed RhodeCode ie. the same place where the ini file is located

When using sqlite just copy rhodecode.db. Any other database engine requires a manual backup operation.

Database backup will contain all gathered statistics

I can safely copy the DB even if the process is running? I won't get a corrupted version?

Corrupted not, just it might miss some information if someone would write to db in the same time. We do RhodeCode daily backup in night, just copy & scp the sqlite db and repositories
