Investigate and summarize how and IF rhodecode should support bookmarks.
I vote for the integration of bookmarks into rhodecode.
Bookmarks are very usefull for us. This seems true for others too, as bookmarks is no extension any more but integrated part of mercurial 1.8.
Currently an export of bookmarks to the rhodecode server fails, where a 'hg serve' on the same repository accepts the bookmark. I would see the push/pull of bookmarks as the minimum rhodecode should support. If it could display them in the UI great.
My local copy of RhodeCode(default stable branch) running mercurial 1.8 allows to push bookmark to server,
what error are you getting ?
I upgraded Rhodecode to 1.1.7 using mercurial 1.8.
I tried to push an existing bookmark with 'hg push -B myBookmark' locally on the unix machine and remote from a windows client. But still it fails with the message 'updating bookmark myBookmark failed!'
In the log of rhodecode I can see a lot of login request and finally the entry '2011-03-28 09:26:12.405 DEBUG [rhodecode.model.scm] marking bookmarks for invalidation'
After discussion with collegues we consider bookmarks now as a client local aspect. Publishing them to the server might result in a bunch of bookmarks not helpfull to anybody.
So I revoke my vote. Thank you for your quick response.

I have no problem pushing and pulling bookmarks (Rhodecode 1.1.4), but it would be nice if I could see them when browsing a repository.
