Issue #681 new

Default permission change error

Chris Robison
created an issue

I saw the 1.5 got published today, so I upgraded our server. I upgraded from 1.4.4. The upgrade went through without a hitch. I'm seeing the following error when I try to change the default permissions.

2012-12-13 17:18:10.834 ERROR [rhodecode.controllers.admin.permissions] Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/rhodecode/pyenv/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/RhodeCode-1.5.0-py2.7.egg/rhodecode/controllers/admin/permissions.py", line 120, in update permission_model.update(form_result) File "/opt/rhodecode/pyenv/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/RhodeCode-1.5.0-py2.7.egg/rhodecode/model/permission.py", line 83, in update ' your database' % (len(u2p), len(User.DEFAULT_PERMISSIONS))) Exception: Defined: 9 should be 5 permissions for default user. This should not happen please verify your database

The database upgrade went through just fine so I'm wondering if something got missed.

sorry for that. I think it might been earlier that they got duplicates. or i missed something. Here's a dump of example 5 permissions that should be defined for default user with id =1 If you remove duplicates then it should work.

     user_to_perm_id | user_id | permission_id
    -----------------+---------+---------------
                   1 | 1 | 15
                   2 | 1 | 11
                   3 | 1 | 13
                   4 | 1 | 2
                   5 | 1 | 6
