Big changeset clone with mercurial fails

Issue #718 resolved
Jani Tiainen created an issue

When trying to clone big changeset following error appears approximately after 60 seconds from the start:

2013-01-10 13:11:23.634 ERROR [waitress] Socket error Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/rhodecode-venv/lib/python2.6/site-packages/waitress-0.8.1-py2.6.egg/waitress/", line 134, in handle_write flush() File "/opt/rhodecode-venv/lib/python2.6/site-packages/waitress-0.8.1-py2.6.egg/waitress/", line 249, in _flush_some num_sent = self.send(chunk) File "/usr/lib/python2.6/", line 352, in send result = self.socket.send(data) error: [Errno 32] Broken pipe

I've verified that error appears also when using paster serve without http server running in the middle.

It looks like your client breaks the connection. I pushed/pulled 10GB repos over RhodeCode without any problems. Please try to see if your client/proxy doesn't cut off the connection. You can also perform local clone where rhodecode is served.
