Earlier on today I informed you that ESET HTTP scanner causes Rhodecode to close connections unexpectedly or even hang sometimes. Upon further investigation we discovered this is a general bug in Windows that is triggered by ESET but also by other programs (including Internet Explorer). Please see http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=2183700#post2183700
Instead of warning users that ESET might causes problems, it makes sense to point them to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2789397 instead if they experience these symptoms. I installed the hotfix and the problem seems to be gone.
