Issue #798 resolved

Enabling filter-with in [app:main] causes setup-rhodecode to fail

Anonymous created an issue

setup-rhodecode fails when filter-with is enabled in [app:main] section in production.ini:

/usr/local/bin/paster setup-rhodecode /srv/rhodecode/production.ini --user=admin --password=admin12 --email=root@example.com --repos=/srv/rhodecode/repos

The section 'main' is not the application (probably a filter). You should add #section_name, where section_name is the section that configures your application

Simply commenting filter-with out solves the issue.

Note that /usr/local/bin/paster serve /srv/rhodecode/production.ini works ok with filter-with enabled

    Some more details:

    OS: ubuntu 12.04.2 i386

    Kernel: 3.5.0-25-generic #39~precise1-Ubuntu

    Rhodecode: 1.5.4, installed with easy_install -U RhodeCode

    Python: 2.7

PasteDeploy: 1.5.0 (installed by easy_install as a dependency to RhodeCode)

    Steps to reproduce:

    # /usr/local/bin/paster make-config RhodeCode p.ini
    Distribution already installed:
      RhodeCode 1.5.4 from /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/RhodeCode-1.5.4-py2.7.egg
    Creating p.ini
Now you should edit the config files
      p.ini

    # sed -i 's|^prefix =.*$|prefix = /rc| ; s|^#filter-with =|filter-with =|' p.ini
    # /usr/local/bin/paster setup-rhodecode p.ini --user=marcink --password=secret --email=marcin@rhodecode.org --repos=/srv/rhodecode/repos/
The section 'main' is not the application (probably a filter). You should add #section_name, where section_name is the section that configures your application
