Document installation / setup process for new end-users
I don't know anything about the Clojurescript ecosystem or its typical workflows, and while I've used some Electron apps before, I've never had to compile one myself. I'd like to give Wryte a try, but I have no idea how to get started.

Account Deleted Well, in downlodas there are a builded version for linux, mac and windows. I've downloaded the linux one and launched wryte, but after selecting the proper language, and click "Start" and start speaking, nothing happens...

repo owner It works on some machines and not on some other linux machines.
I am thinking to rewrite wryte for the chrome browser.

Account Deleted Sad to hear that. There are already plenty of STT chrome addons and I was lookig for a desktop alternative, mainly to use as addon of libreoffice, it would be great for the visually impaired (and for the lazies). Right now, there is no open source solution to accomplish that, the only way to do it is through Wine + Dragon Naturally speaking, which I would reject by all means if a open source solution would exist. (I really think that LibreOffice Writer Addon would be a feature-killer and a boost for both projects ;) )

repo owner The Problem is, the Solution was heavily based on chromes speech-to-text API. And the API works not very stable in Electron. At least on Linux for that matter.
Best

+1 I would love to try this software to see if it fits on a visual impaired association, but I can't even install it... so even a tiny step-by-step procedure would be much appretiated!
