FTBFS: SDLTimerTest.test_SDL_GetTicks fails, others flaky

Issue #85 resolved

Here is the Debian Bug report: http://bugs.debian.org/792197

Source: pysdl2 Version: 0.9.3+dfsg2-1 Severity: serious Tags: sid stretch Justification: fails to build from source User: reproducible-builds@lists.alioth.debian.org Usertags: ftbfs

Dear Maintainer,

The package fails to build, with some tests always failing, and some apparently failing inconsistently:

FAILURE: test_SDL_GetTicks (sdl2.test.timer_test.SDLTimerTest)

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/pysdl2-0.9.3+dfsg2/sdl2/test/timer_test.py", line 35, in test_SDL_GetTicks ticks2, ticks)) AssertionError: 1: 4.000000 is not <= 3 for 1004.000000 and 0.000000

test_SDL_Delay and test_MPEventHandlercall have also failed.

Full build log showing all three (as of now): https://reproducible.debian.net/rb-pkg/unstable/amd64/pysdl2.html

Marking this one as critical because this may result in removal of pysdl2 from the next Debian release.

    I can only find the timer issue in the logs, nothing else. The issue is non-critical, though and the success or failure of the test depends on the load of the executing system. I should make that test issue a warning or info message instead of an error.
